As an artist, it feels good that we've created something that is connecting with the audience, which is what we always strive to do.

As an artist, you have to do what you feel passionate about. It has to be something you can connect with.

You just have to know that the more successful you get as an artist, the less of a normal life you have. It's a trade-off.

We as artists are actively encouraged - by other authors, your agent, publisher, and society - not to think about money, strategy, how to manage your career, how to create a brand, because we're supposed to focus on the art.

I just feel passionately about a few things and particularly about helping artists get off the ground.
