The only thing that matters to me is getting to the work - getting to do the work. And I don't really care where it is: whether it's on stage or on television or in film.

Personally as an actress, when I work on something, that's it and then I move onto the next thing. I'm not someone who sits and watches my stuff. I like to go onto the next thing that I'm working on, and the thing that's been completed is completed.

I do get very involved in making a scene work without giving too much thought about how it affects the overall, which I think is hard to know in any case.

That's why I love theatre, because things happen in the moment. I think you work without being conscious that you're working.

I have always been of the mind that good work is good work, whether performed on stage, on television or in film and, like any reasonable actor, I keep my options open.

What is a struggle is that acting isn't a place where you go to work and you do that thing. There aren't set boundaries, like an office, where you go and work. For me, the work is always on my mind.

I prefer stage work, as an actor.

I love being on stage or in front of the camera. My work brings me a lot of joy. It helps me figure out who I am. I'm really lucky that I get to make a living at acting.

Personally, when I'm not working, I like to do as many things outside of the industry as I can - other things that make me happy. You kind of need to be grounded in something else besides just being an actor.

I do it because I love acting, I love working, and whether it's radio, television, films, theater, I don't care as long as I can get out there and do it.
