I've been really lucky to play sort of a diverse array of characters over my relatively short career, although it feels really long.

I've had the opportunity to do a wide range of stuff, a lot of different characters and they've all had their own kind of thing.

I hope it's not all I'll ever do, but I know I've played enigmatic characters. For me, the good characters are people who get places, are devious, are cunning and tricky and hard to pin down. Obviously, if you play one and you do an okay job of it, that'll be on people's minds.

Playing the misunderstood character has been really interesting to me. But I think after too long, that also becomes a little bit of a cliche. Or that's all you're expected to do. I didn't want that to be the totality of what my career was.

It's quite hard to find a ballsy or complex character. So the roles I've taken are those. Lot's of people put me in the dark category.

I've been lucky to play characters that are really broad.

I don't really compare any of the characters I play; I try to go into them being very open to what the characters can offer and what I can bring to them and then bring a being to life.

I try to pick characters that I find interesting and complex and that I feel I can bring something of myself to.

I have been really lucky in my career, with the diversity of it. I get to play really complex people.
