There's something very scary about exposing yourself on camera, knowing that you're going to be put on thousands of screens around the world for everyone to judge, but there's also something very thrilling and exciting about it.

It's a weird thing... putting your emotions out there for everybody to see while filming. I think it puts you in a kind of vulnerable state.

I can see how a person could get addicted to the adrenaline of moviemaking.

What it all boils down to for me is having the enthusiasm to do something for enjoyment and being stimulated by what's around you. That's what photography does for me.

Fortunately, I've never been very conscious and inhibited of what I have to do. The camera's my soul mate.

When you're in front of the camera, you have to try to create different emotions because even the person making pictures of you needs inspiration. To be 'you' means nothing - you can be so many yous.

When I get in front of a camera all my fears and my inhibitions just go away. As a model, I feel that I am acting, too, playing different parts and showing different facets of myself.

I mean, if a camera's on you all the time, you don't get real moments.

You must photograph where you are involved; where you are overwhelmed by what you see before you; where you hold your breath while releasing the shutter, not because you are afraid of jarring the camera, but because you are seeing with your guts wide open to the sweet pain of an image that is part of your life.

The camera is interested in what you are thinking as opposed to just what you are doing or saying.
