We're comic. We're all comics. We live in a comic time. And the worse it gets the more comic we are.

In my personal life, I'm a comic novel. But then, so are we all, because we're human beings.

We like to make the Marvel comics films because they're fun. Families can go see them together. They're entertaining. They aspire to inspire, and that is cool.

We grew out of the superhero comics, but we still liked comics, so we started putting our own experiences in the stories we were doing for our own amusement.

I enjoy comedic things. People don't understand it's the hardest thing to do. We have a ratio of 25-to-1 between good dramatic actors and people who are considered good comic actors.

It's one thing to have a relationship, to lay your hands on it, and another to make it continue and last. That's something I haven't talked about much in my comic strips, and it's certainly something I'm interested in.

We can't really make a living doing comic books, despite the fact that would be an awfully fun way to make a living.

In their heyday, comics were a dominant force in popular culture, but that's over.

One of the things that binds us as a family is a shared sense of humor.
