I've learned in my life that it's important to be able to step outside your comfort zone and be challenged with something you're not familiar or accustomed to. That challenge will allow you to see what you can do.

What I find really interesting is to try and mix it up, to push myself and try different things. I don't want to stay in my comfort zone. I want to take risks and keep myself scared.

I go by intuition. Work-wise, that means asking myself if a role will push me outside my comfort zone, challenge me to learn something new.

Surround yourself with people you can always learn something from. Always work with people that are better at their craft than you are.

The most important thing is to have opportunities and feel confidence in yourself.

I don't think you can help but personalize a role. You almost play to none of the preconceived notions of it. It's more or less a personal experience and journey.

In my industry, it's important to have people I look to for different things: guidance, inspiration and motivation.

I just try and do the best with every role I get to do. Hopefully the experience in itself is a good experience and people will want to work with me.

Sometimes it gets a little uncomfortable to not do everything. That was my modus operandi for many years, but I just feel like I want to do challenging roles.
