I understand it's my role to realize people's dreams. I'm O.K. with that so long as my songs are my own. No one can take my songs away from me.

I was regularly advised not to go into music, that I should give up that foolish dream.

You live a life, you have a family, you sing your songs. You do not think about these things. You just do them. And then one day, it all make sense to you.
