I have idea files of books that I want to write one of these days, stories I want to write one of these days, but I'll probably never get to them.

I pretty much always wanted to write a series, because I love reading them.

I want to do some fiction writing, I've had some pretty good luck with short stories, I'd like to do a couple of larger things.

If you could have a book called My Favorite Six Stories, I don't think I'd have trouble doing that.

I actually have a young readers' series that I wanna do, kind of in the same lane as a Harry Potter or Narnia or Twilight. I want to write stuff like that.

I've seen novels that have grown out of one story in a collection. But it hasn't occurred to me to take any of those stories and build on them. They seem very finished for me, so I don't feel like going back and dredging them up.

I wouldn't like to just do one story or one type of stories all the time.

I would sooner read a time-table or a catalogue than nothing at all. They are much more entertaining than half the novels that are written.
