In the back of my mind, I can never forget this could be gone tomorrow - and at this point I think the odds are against me... the chances of succeeding in this business are slim to none; there's only a handful of people that have long careers. You have to put in the work, you can never be satisfied, never take it for granted.

No matter what business you are in, there is change, and it's happening pretty quickly.

Business is constantly changing, constantly evolving.

The rate of change is not going to slow down anytime soon. If anything, competition in most industries will probably speed up even more in the next few decades.

We'll look after the people who create jobs and business and give them that opportunity to grow in the time ahead.

I feel like my place in this industry is still progressing.

The good news about building a company during times like this is that the companies that do succeed are going to be extremely strong and resilient.

And the reason for focusing on that time frame is that it's going to take us a considerable period of time to develop the new capabilities, processes and organizations that will be needed.

I absolutely love what I do and thank my lucky stars for twenty-five years of full-time employment in this business.

The business has changed greatly since my day.
