I take none of that to heart. I don't feel like there's anything that I need to do for anybody else. I want to win bad enough for myself anyway, that nothing anybody can say can make me want to win any more.

I'm competitive with myself, but not with other people. I set goals for myself. I don't really care about winning or losing as long as I do my best.

A lot of times, people just want to be an individual. But if you really want to win, at the end of the day, it's not about you just achieving something. Everybody can achieve more if they work together.

As much as it might look like, to someone else, that I'm successful, I never feel like I'm anywhere. The further I go, I still feel equally further from my eventual goal. Because as I grow, I get more goals. I'm never content.

The reason why I love to win is because I don't have to go through that feeling of losing. It's those times where I lose that feeling that will stick with me.

I was not emotionally mature enough to accept any kind of success when I was young. I needed to go that long route.
