Ireland's always going to be my home, but so much is filmed in L.A., so you have to spend time out here.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
My dad moved to London in his early 20s and didn't really go back. So the irony is I've spent lots and lots of time in Ireland, but not with my dad. I've shot films in Belfast, where he's from. And I've shot in Dun Laoghaire. Which is great. And I've shot in Dublin.
It was great to work in Ireland because it's such a beautiful country, but it's not particularly easy to film in because the weather changes all the time.
I can't say enough about Ireland. I can't. I'd move there.
I am at home in Dublin, more than in any other city.
I love to go to Ireland just to relax.
The truth is that I am in love with Dublin. I think it is the most beautiful town that I have ever seen, mountains at the back and the sea in front, and long roads winding through decaying suburbs and beautiful woods.
Ireland, once you live there, you're seduced by it.
Fabulous place, Dublin is. The trouble is, you work hard and in Dublin you play hard as well.
I'm home a lot. Because I live in Ireland, we can live under the celebrity radar. I might go missing for a whole year.
While I enjoy spending time in L.A., Britain is my home.
