I like to try to hit all of my dives.

I go down to the dive bar around the corner when I go out. I don't go to the showbiz parties.

Some people think its just fun and games and others don't know how much I pushed to get here. They have to be in my shoes, but by listening to my music they can find out.

I'm a big diver. I like to dive when I travel, and my last dive was in the Galapagos. I used to live in San Francisco and I would dive all the time in Monterey.

I used to go out with someone who was a really great diver, and we used to go to all the great dive spots all over the globe - although I would spend most of my time crying because I was often too scared to go into the water. But once I was in the water, I loved it.

I love pulling people into concert halls who might not otherwise go and getting their ears tuned.

Once I dive in, I dive in all the way.

Instead of doing thousands of dives, I am focusing on quality, and I'm listening to my body more.

Personally, I've found that the kind of thing that I like is going into somebody else's area and not playing their music but doing whatever I do in their area.

I've never been in a competition before, and I said I'm going to go. I think - I just love to sing.
