Did I ever think at the time, when I was with the Alouettes and the Chicago Blitz, that I would be head-coaching a team in the Super Bowl? It would be hard to believe. Is it a dream come true? Yes.

I would hope this experience would help me if that NFL opportunity were to arise. But I also know that it's a totally different league. There's a lot more to it.

There is no way I could have played fourteen years in the NFL if I didn't work my butt off on the practice field perfecting my technique or spend hours upon hours in the film room studying defenses.

If I believe that I became the best quarterback that I could possibly be, the best football player that I could possibly be... That's how I'm going to measure my career as a success or not.

Even in past years, when I wasn't in the Super Bowl, I wished I was.
