I didn't record any additional dialogue for this CD, they are excerpts pulled from existing episodes.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I hate when there's a deleted scene on a DVD with no explanation, or you have to go out of your way to find an alternate audio track.
I'm not at all sure dialogue is meant to advance the story; I know that sometimes it is the story.
I couldn't have recorded this record 15 years ago. My voice didn't have the depth to pull these songs off.
I'm not a big fan of there being voiceovers in movies. I really prefer it when the film tells it story.
There's something in me that just wants to create dialogue.
I made a record of montage sounds in '99 under the name Korena Pang, but it was never put out because it didn't do it for me.
We were contracted to make a soundtrack album but there really wasn't enough new material in the movie to make a new record that I thought was interesting.
I remember rehearsing it, and it was the one that we were really excited about and thought would sound the best, and once it was down on tape, it was like, This doesn't actually sound that good.
The commentary track became a lot like the movie and there are some funny, long, awkward pauses that you can tell we're just trying to find stuff to say. None of us had gotten to really talk about the movie until that moment and they were in New York and we were in L.A.
In every movie I do have a dialogue.
