I usually have 10 different animation projects going at a time.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
But probably for the last ten years or so, I've been fitting in animation work into my other projects.
I always wanted to do something different with each film. So I guess that means that I wanted to not repeat myself. There has to be some kind of a new element in each project that I take up.
These days i tend to use one project I do as a kind of offshoot to the next.
I'm usually working on eight or 10 things at once.
I love to get involved with projects that take me out of my comfort zone. I try to do things that are not necessarily what I'm used to. I always wanted to do a big animation movie and stick to the codes that this genre sometimes implies.
I try to keep the number of projects I'm involved in down to one per year.
When I've finished one project, I start thinking about the next.
Thinking is my hobby. But sometimes you get to where you're stuck and you can't figure it out, so you just go work on another project. I always have multiple projects.
I brought in the stories many times. I don't just do animation.
I usually have one project I'm focusing on but often have many other projects in the back of my mind for several years.
