Well, I think people don't recognise my face because I'm so much older now, but it is astonishing that people can recognise a voice. I do sometimes get recognised, and indeed a lot of people do come and see me.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
I get a lot of recognition for my voice. That always surprises me.
I have had a few people recognise me in public. But I wouldn't like everybody to recognise me. I can still walk across the street and not be noticed.
People sorta know my face, but I can still go out to the supermarket, and nobody pays much attention.
Unless you've been touched personally, it's difficult to see, but there are millions of people who have no voice whatsoever.
I don't know how people recognize me.
I never fail to find it weird when people recognise me.
I don't put myself out there, so people aren't necessarily familiar with me or my face.
My voice is who I am, who I was when I was 3, and who I am going to be when I am 90 years old. When I hit the stage and people do not know who I am, they automatically assume, before I open my mouth, I am going to sing a Bob Marley song!
People saw me as just a singer - yeah, a pretty face who could sing - and not more than that.
I think my face and voice suit me better as I get older.
