I guess I could take things from every place that I've been and find something familiar and wonderful about it that makes me feel like I'm at home.

When I'm writing something and I'm really into it, that's all I can think about, and it becomes the most important thing in the world to me, and it may not be that, in reality.

I find that the most special thing to me is if you've connected to people in some way: If someone comes up to you on the street and says something to you, and you know it's meant something to them, and it's connected to some project. That, I find, is amazing.

I feel like everything I write about is a gift I need to share because there is somebody out there going through a similar thing that might need to hear it. I know music helped me a lot. And still does.

Going through something difficult in your life, music, for me, is always a friend and something that helps you to figure things out.

What's important to me is to share, and being inspired, and inspiring.
