You can't remember the plot of the Dr Who movie because it didn't have one, just a lot of plot holes strung together. It did have a lot of flashing lights, though.

There was something very special about 'Doctor Who', and I did miss it a lot.
Originally the film opened with Ryan in the doctor's office, being told his wife is dying. Then we see him walking the streets, and the story is told in flashback.
'Doctor Who' has a certain amount of showbiz attached to it.
I found it a little bit stressful, because I wasn't used to working with Doctor Who. I got the impression I'd walked into the end of seven years and it was all a bit tense.
I didn't see Dr. No for a year, but I liked it when I saw it. It was a fun movie. I don't like the Bond movies now. I hate special effects.
And it's sort of an old-fashioned ER, in that it's very much about the medicine, and how these people cope. There's very little about the personal lives of the characters.
I do sometimes watch 'Dr. Who' and while the stories barely make sense, if at all, the doctor is such great company I don't care.
I think it's always exciting when 'Doctor Who' touches its past.
There are generations who watch Doctor Who together.
