A lot of people who claim they're political comedians are just comedians who have opinions. But they stop being funny the minute they give their opinions.

Politicians are wonderful people as long as they stay away from things they don't understand, such as working for a living.

Don't fall in love with politicians, they're all a disappointment. They can't help it, they just are.

Most politicians are vain. Many of them are stupid.

And realising that humour is the most powerful way to make a political statement and say the things that you want to say. And it's not used enough, at least not in the U.S.
