God helps those who help themselves.

Sometimes, it is enough for us to hold out a hand to receive help. It is not we who help; God helps, granting His power to the powerless word.

We're often ashamed of asking for so much help because it seems selfish or petty or narcissistic, but I think, if there's a God - and I believe there is - that God is there to help. That's what God's job is.

We all go through times when we need help.

God wants to help us... He loves us... we are His children. But He will not force His help on us at any time. He sees us when we struggle and fight and complain our way through things. And I believe it breaks His heart, when all we have to do is ask Him for help.

In life, if people need help, then we should try and help them out.

God loves to help him who strives to help himself.

God lends a helping hand to the man who tries hard.

In this world filled with challenges, we do need help from time to time. Religion, eternal truth, and our missionaries are vital parts of that help.

We all need God in certain ways, you know. And I certainly fall short in a lot of categories. And it's at those times that I need much more help than most.
