I am always fascinated by the way kids create their own world. That is something I am very attentive to anywhere I go.

I had the best of both worlds when I was a kid. I'd spend a quiet week with my mum, then I'd go to my dad's property in the Adelaide Hills, where there were all these kids and animals running around.

It's all about balance, and I have so much happiness in my career and am fortunate to travel the world and see so many amazing things - it will also be nice to be anchored to something grounded and in the same place. Raising a family will be a wonderful part of that.

I think it's important that kids have responsibilities and understand the value of things, but I think it's great I get to travel the world with my daughter.

But when I really look back on my life, being really honest about it and now that I've got the chance to travel the world, seeing how a lot of little kids grow up - my life wasn't so bad.

My children just want to get at the world; it is so pleasantly surprising to witness that.

When I was 7, I went to school in Switzerland because everyone on my mom's side of the family lives there. Then we were back in Australia, in Queensland. That's where we had the chance to have lots of different animals. I spent a lot of time living in nature and building cubby houses in big old trees by the ocean.

Becoming an inspiration for kids is great. I want to inspire them to do whatever they want to.

Growing up, I saw the world as an inspiring place full of interesting people.
