I don't have an album cover with me on a broomstick.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I don't think I'd ever make an album of just covers because I love writing my own music.
I do covers for CDs and LPs of music that I like, reissues of old-time music, and then I'm inspired to make some kind of drawing based on this love of the music. I don't do album covers or CD covers for groups or musicians I don't like or have no interest in.
To record an album and stick to one specific style isn't really my thing.
An album is a thing you take time out and go work on.
Who really needs a new album from me?
I don't want to have that thing where I make an album and then I'm super-constantly present in everyone's life for three years, and then gone for the next three.
The stuff I write I'm very proud of, but I'm smart enough to know I'll never get on the cover of 'Rolling Stone' next to Elvis Costello.
I kinda like the idea of having an album that's all me.
I posed as an album-cover designer and photographer... That I today have some album covers and photographs to show for myself is a monument to the attention-to-detail of my disguise.
I have a lot of albums yet to do.
