Music has the power to bring people together like no other art form.

The great thing about the arts, and especially popular music, is that it really does cut across genres and races and classes.

Dance has always just been an extension of music for me. It's about putting my music into motion. It's just another dimension that I tap into with my music that not many artists do anymore.

For me making music is part social, part interaction, part collaboration.

A lot of people who have been perceiving my music have been trying to formulate a genre for it, and I think it's just a natural thing; it doesn't need to be categorized. It doesn't need to be sectioned, if you will.

I think my music generally transcends a lot of genres.

Maybe one day music will just be music, and there won't be these categories; it'll just be different shades of music.

I feel that the music that I do is somewhat of a lost art and it's not as popular as dance or pop music and people are not as interested in it. But it's something that I believe in and I feel that it's needed, so that's why I do it and I will keep doing it until everybody hears it and gets it.

Of all the arts, music is really the most abstract.
