I have candles, pictures and flowers on my nightstand... and of course a lamp!

I like to personalise my dressing room, have a cover for the bed and, if it is a long run, a few cushions and a teapot - a little pot for one.

Downstairs in my house, I have a museum room. I keep all of my awards down there, and childhood photos, and even all the clothes I've worn on tour, in videos and on album covers.

I mean, even my dressing room at the studio has candles and cushions and cashmere rugs and things.

I have collections of quirky things from places I've been to, like a set of Russian dolls.

I'll put candles all over the room, then light then, and get to it. I call it my 'vibe in a bag.'

Some of my favorite pieces are from thrift shops. When I find something I really love, I live, work and sleep in it.

I have a house, with two big plasma-screen TVs, two dogs, a grill, chessboard. I like to keep it low-key: invite friends over, order some Papa John's pizzas and Coors Light, play poker and ping-pong and chill. I'm pretty private.

I like candles. It helps cover up for the fact that I have four male roommates.

In my office, I have the creative things that kids have made for me over the years. The nice thing about the physical side of life is that I can have them on my shelf.
