It's nice to have the opportunity to play for so much money, but it's nicer to win it.

When I get to go play in my hometown, it's almost one of the toughest times because I got so many people to cater to and then a lot of people that think they're supposed to be catered to.

Every time I'm ever in L.A., if I have anytime off - which is rare - I'll go straight to the basketball court and play. That's a way for me to escape and get my mind off everything. I'm so competitive, so if I'm playing basketball, all I'm thinking about is winning.

I'm sure a lot of players say it, but winning is almost so you don't lose. The thrill of winning is not as great as the pain of losing.

It's always so nerve-wracking being up there on stage. It's even harder playing in your hometown - and I have a couple of home towns - but, you're playing for all the people you knew in high school, so it causes no small degree of panic in my mind.

It's fun playing small venues.

I feel like when I play, I play tough. That's the New York in me. That's the street tournaments.
