The only road to the highest stations in this country is that of the law.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
To be clear... no one is above the law.
The safety of the people shall be the highest law.
If I am not above the law, nobody in this country can then claim to be above the law.
That which is not just is not law.
If you operate a TV or radio station, you have to have a license. It has nothing to do with fundamental freedom. It has to do with protection of the average citizen against abuses.
The law always limits every power it gives.
So the competition isn't once you got the license, running the station; it's getting the license.
The law is not a 'light' for you or any man to see by; the law is not an instrument of any kind. The law is a causeway upon which so long as he keeps to it a citizen may walk safely.
Besides Germany, the only countries that don't have speed limits are places like Nepal, where road conditions are so bad that a limit would be beside the point. In other words, it's a little crazy that this is even a topic for debate in Germany.
The higher your station, the less your liberty.
