My theory is children don't do what you tell them to do, they do what you do. You have to always do the right thing because they follow you.

You have to discipline your children, or they won't respect you, law enforcement or God or anyone else.

Anytime anybody is rude, it makes me double-check my own behavior to make sure I don't do that to other people.

People are always nice; I never get anything mean said to me on the street.

My children did not go through a stage of being rude to their parents. I'm sorry if that sounds incredible.

If you're nice, if you like yourself, if you treat other people well, you're going to be successful. I guarantee it.
