Some values must be universal, like human rights and the equal worth of every human being.

Values are principles and ideas that bring meaning to the seemingly mundane experience of life. A meaningful life that ultimately brings happiness and pride requires you to respond to temptations as well as challenges with honor, dignity, and courage.

Everybody has values. Now, you know it may be formed in a secular setting, it may be formed in an intellectual setting, but everybody comes forward with values.

Here are the values that I stand for: honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you want to be treated and helping those in need. To me, those are traditional values.

There are people in the world who have the power to change our values.

My values - going back to my childhood - were always based on respect for all people and rejection of bigotry and racism.

Circumstances dictate your set of values, your set of morals.
