People sometimes ask who I would cast in my books and I never have any idea. I don't think I could ever write a book thinking of it as a movie the whole time. This would be like building a house and filling it with furniture just so you could have blueprints.

Sometimes, what's not said is just as important to the writing as what is said. As a writer, we have our voices heard. I think that, at oftentimes, the ability to allow the dialogue to recede properly into the world of the film is also a really valid sort of way to be a writer, I think.

If I read a script and I like it, there's nothing that will stop me from trying to be in that movie.

I'm not saying I'm a writer, but I've been in movies for a long time, and I think I could write a script for a movie.

I think it would be fun to write about movies again.
