I'm 41 now and the right knee has got a bit of a twinge in it. I get about the stage a little less now.

I'm 58 years old and I just went through 8 back surgeries. They started cutting on me in February 2009, and I was basically bed ridden for almost two years. I got a real dose of reality that if you don't have your health, you don't have anything.

Old age is a wonderful time of life. At least, that's what everyone tells you. But let me tell you: it is not true. What's true is that your hips, knees and ankles gradually give up on you - everything is quite dreadful, really. And it was a terrible thing to have told us because we believed it.

There are moments when I can't believe I'm as old as I am. But I feel better physically than I did 10 years ago. I don't think, Oh God, I'm missing something.

For 40 years, I put my body through a tremendous amount of work.

It's amazing, it doesn't feel like it has been 10 years since retirement.

I think I'm in better shape now than I was 10 years ago, but it takes a bigger toll - I get back pain!
