I just think it gets confusing for our communities when the federal law is different from the state law.

If you have a federal government that's not enforcing the law and does not preserve the integrity of its own borders, then naturally, states are going to take matters into their own hands.

We will also allow state companies to sell shares to their workers and will pass a law allowing citizens to start companies of their own with no limits on the number of employees or on the firm's output.

Many businesses oppose any government mandates, even if they are already following them.

There certainly is a lot of political pressure for states to adopt the new federal tax codes. But there is no law that requires them to do so.

I don't think the federal government has any business keeping a list of law-abiding Americans who exercise their constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

It certainly makes no sense to enact more laws if we cannot, or do not, enforce the ones we have.

Federal regulations should promote safety without unnecessarily burdening small firms and costing much-needed jobs.
