There's more to the sport than just fighting, and you either understand that, or you don't. And if you don't, then I promise you the guys that are worth money don't want to fight you, because you don't get it.

I don't look at football as a violent, barbaric sport. It's a very spiritual sport, especially for someone facing the challenges during a game: the fear of failure, the fear of getting too big an ego, of making a mistake and everybody criticizing you.

Football is a violent sport. Somebody's going to get hurt. It's the game. Just hopefully, you're on the good side of it.

I've always felt that people put me down, and I'd fight back. I played football 15 years, and nobody gave me any credit, and they never will do.
