I don't like celebrity programmes - but I do like programmes about how ideas are formed and evolve.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
I know that if I had a television in my flat I would convince myself that everything on it was really interesting. I would say, 'I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!' is so sociologically fascinating that I think I'd better watch.
I won't do 'Strictly' or any of those ghastly reality programmes. 'I'm a Celebrity' would be the end. It makes me shudder.
I like how TV used to be - 'Boys from the Blackstuff' and 'Play for Today', instead of 'Stars in Your Eyes' and 'Celebrity Come Cook With Me' or whatever. I hate all that stuff.
I actually have very girly taste in television. I like a chicky relationship show probably more than anything. I really like 'Project Runway'.
The celebrity craze is a little much. But it's good for me, so you don't bite the hand that feeds you.
I revisit old favorites like 'Buffy' and 'Battlestar Galactica' when I'm bored. I am obsessed with 'Scandal.' I love TV.
I like the 'Science Channel,' the 'Discovery Channel,' I like 'Discovery Times,' which is a fabulous hybrid of the 'New York Times' and 'Discovery Channel.' Maybe I'm just an old man, but I like to watch that stuff.
Cable's on fire. Traditional broadcast TV's hearing a death knell. I sample as much television as possible. I like 'Homeland,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Veep.' Now reinvention's important.
Mostly, what I watch are reality shows and documentaries.
I've always have loved reality programmes. 'Big Brother,' 'I'm A Celebrity,' they're my guilty pleasure.
