I won't lie - when you're first bringing out music and you want people to notice, you probably overdo it, especially as a girl.

I hate that if you do one style of music or become really well known for that one song, that everything that comes after has to fit that mold.

I'm not trying to stay in the same place and I'm not trying to compete with what's currently in fashion. That would be dishonest. But, at the same time, I'm different and the music reflects that to some degree.
