Once you're in the presence of people who have put their lives actively on the line, repeatedly, you're never allowed to complain again. And I do, and we all do. But now I look at things a little differently.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
There are times in life when, instead of complaining, you do something about your complaints.
There are days that I wake up and I complain, and when I complain I pinch myself and say, 'that's for complaining.' Not many people can do what they really like in life.
To complain now would be kind of sad. I like the way things are going.
I like to complain and do nothing to make things better.
To complain is always nonacceptance of what is. It invariably carries an unconscious negative charge. When you complain, you make yourself into a victim. When you speak out, you are in your power. So change the situation by taking action or by speaking out if necessary or possible; leave the situation or accept it. All else is madness.
If you're a person who complains about everything all the time, then you're just the boy who cried 'wolf.' But if you do it on occasion and about the right reasons, then people listen.
Complaining not only ruins everybody else's day, it ruins the complainer's day, too. The more we complain, the more unhappy we get.
I am basically a complainer and all the grounds for complaint have been swept out from under me.
My parents always used to tell us not to complain about things but do something about them, so 'Can't is not an option' was almost a way of life.
I guess I have never been much of a complainer. You just take what is given you, and don't complain about what you can't affect.
