I try to tell a story musically in a song.

Unfortunately, most of the songs that I write I don't write them with guitar in mind. I just write it as a song and that was probably one of the ones that left an opening for it. The song's all right, I wouldn't choose to sing it now.

It's a gift that I have and I became good at it. When I heard my first song I didn't even know that I could write songs.

I'm not a trained musician or singer, but I can turn out a song.

Writing a simple melody can take weeks to get it right where I want it, but I do quite enjoy it.

I usually write lyrics first, and then when I get home or close to any kind of instrument, I usually make a melody for those lyrics.

Anything is food for starting a song. A song can start with a lyric idea or a melody or just a sound that inspires.
