So I like to try to go back and develop pure visual storytelling. Because to me, it's one of the most exciting aspects of making movies and almost a lost art at this point.

We're really interested in more visual storytelling, figuring out a way to blend our level of observation with a bigger visual scope.

There is a plethora of topics to explore. I sometimes think I may never live long enough to explore all of the unique story lines I have either in my head or waiting in my computer file.

It's the imagination that is involved in sci-fi, and fantasy is what draws me to it. Stories, everything.

In particular, I'm drawn to the stories that have big, high concepts and real characters at their heart. And I love where those two worlds meet, and 'Edge of Tomorrow' is the perfect canvas to explore that.

I'm a fan of great storytelling.

I feel like I get drawn to - and I know it sounds cheesy but - I love storytelling.

Storytelling is my passion, and it rises from a love of reading.
