I collect books - a lot of books.

I have three libraries. As a gift, a friend alphabetized and organized my main library of novels, history books, and nonfiction. Then I have a photo-book collection. Then there's this nearly whole room of my childhood books. I've also got cookbooks and a big collection of horse-related books.

My house is filled with books, most of which I have read, some of which I intend to eventually get to. I'm always reading at least one work of fiction and one work of non-fiction simultaneously. Whatever mood I'm in, there's always a book nearby to suit it.

My whole thing is, I collect what I know I want to read, and I have certain bookshelves in my bedroom that contain all the books I haven't read yet.

I collect books, primarily first-edition 20th-century fiction.

Books are the heart of any home, and I spend hours going through books for design inspiration.

For most of my career I illustrated books for other people.

There are books all around me... I don't read as much as I used to, but I always have a book or two going.
