My artwork gets stolen all the time; it's ridiculous.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
All art is theft.
It's nice to sometimes get things out of life, rather than stealing from other artists. I'm trying to steal from the real people.
Stealing things is a glorious occupations, particularly in the art world.
Photography is always a kind of stealing. A theft from the subject. Artists are assaulters in a lot of ways, and the viewer is complicit in that assault.
Good artists copy, great artists steal.
The copyright bargain: a balance between protection for the artist and rights for the consumer.
Some people try to paint in my style. Some simply sell pirated copies of my work. Some claim to be my publisher or agent or even my exclusive representative, when they are not.
I have made it a rule for a long time, not to part with the copyright of my drawings, for I have been so copied, my drawings reproduced and sold for advertisements and done in ways I hate.
Real art has been... what's the word? Kidnapped? No, that's not it. But, OK, kidnapped by business.
I've definitely stolen a lot of things.
