It's great to get to make something in your own voice.

I don't want it to be all that self-conscious or artificial, but it really grows out of my having invented myself as a listener so that I could hear her voice.

And I've had vocal training on and off for years.

I was able to realize that I definitely want to make sure that I use my voice, as it gets bigger and bigger, in the world for good.

I know that I have a voice and can use it for good or bad. It's a gift from God.
