When you're on a series, it's tough to go on and do something else afterward. If you're smart, save your money and you can wait out the bad times, until something else comes along.

But I want to do good work, after this series.

I don't watch the beginnings of many series; I don't know why - maybe because I'm normally working.

You never say never, but I don't think I'd want to do a long-running series.

I pretty much always wanted to write a series, because I love reading them.

I'd never thought much about a series, because I liked the idea of picking a script I liked with a character I thought I could sustain for an hour. In a series, you live with one character day in and day out - and you only hope it will be one that will not drive you crazy.

Developing a series is a next step for me.

Now I won't have to worry about the new series making it or not.
