I have things planned for every character like what they're doing down the road and coming to different realizations but I don't have how they overlap.
Remember upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all.
With a lot of comedies, the characters go on a journey, and they come back, and they're the exact same people.
You decide which characters you want and then do the best you can to bring their humanity to the forefront in the context that you place them in - the crises in which you've placed them.
Given what I do to my characters, I'm not sure I'd want to meet any of them.
I think there's a path cut for us, a destination mapped out. Everyone ends up where they're meant to be, and how they got there doesn't really matter.
It interests me to imagine characters shifting from one situation and one location to another for whatever the circumstances may be.
