My small experience on 'Dancing with the Stars' allowed me to slowly appreciate the Waltz and Viennese Waltz, but to see it in Vienna is something much different.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
Vienna is a handsome, lively city, and pleases me exceedingly.
I kind of lost interest in the classical dance. I was very much interested in the modern choreography.
I found I loved musicals as much or more than the pure dance world. I also think I became tired of dancing for other dancers.
I'm not too fond of changing things into waltzes, but sometimes that works.
I grew up with classical music when I was a ballet dancer. Now when I have to prepare an emotional scene, to cry or whatever, I listen to sonatas. Vivaldi and stuff. It's just beautiful to me.
In the ballet studio, it was such an organized and disciplined environment, like I'd never had in my life. Seeing myself in the mirror, surrounded by the classical music, that's when I started to fall in love with dance.
At least in my performances, the audience has become so diverse in a way that I don't think ballet has ever experienced.
The ballet embodies the notes of music. And sometimes you almost feel like you can see the notes dance up there on the stage.
My idea was to go to Vienna to study conducting and perhaps play in an orchestra first, so I thought before I got to Vienna I could do with a little training in Paris.
It is my personality alone that has brought back the waltz and made it a global craze.
