My preference is not to fight a Mexican.

Latinos have fought in all of America's wars, beginning with the Revolutionary War. Many Latinos are fighting and dying for our country today in Iraq, just as several of their ancestors fought for freedom in Mexico over a century ago.

In Mexico, you have to defend yourself and your honour.

There are great legends and great fighters in the history of Mexico, and there will be more to come.

Well, you know, the violence is mostly in Mexico itself, at least the violence that people are worried about. And so we want to make sure that violence does not spill over into our communities that are along the border.

There are some people that just attract violence to them. No matter where they go, they'll find a fight.

It's a big responsibility and great motiviation to be a Mexican fighter who is admired, and I thank God for the support I get from Mexicans on both sides of the border.
