Age brings a freedom. When you're young, you're much more subject to the idea of what feminine is or how you should look or how you should behave.

I only seem to date younger women.

I didn't want to let women down. One of the stereotypes I see breaking is the idea of aging and older women not being beautiful.

Up until age 40, most men are just not as mature as women. So, it makes sense that a lot of women date up in age a bit.

Growing old gracefully used to begin at about 35, but today women prefer to 'stay young gratefully' with thanks to designers, beauticians and plastic surgeons.

In their 20s, women try to be somebody they're not and try to turn themselves into something different. Now I'm in my 30s; I'm very happy with who I am.

Women have been brought up to be passive, accepting, not come forward and play a major role in life. And with age, there's a tendency to revert to that - to pull back, recede. I don't think it's advisable or admirable.

Ageing doesn't mean giving up on style and individuality; it doesn't mean abandoning fashion and living in comfy slippers and flannel knickers.

As a society, I think older women are marginalized, but I think that has changed so much in the last twenty years.
