The fashion world has always been part of my life.

I think, to me, the sheer joy of fancy dress is that it allows you to take a break from our very carefully considered and constructed identities.

I love being able to express myself through what I wear - and for it to be a way of expressing uniqueness and individuality.

You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.

It's not like what I do or what I wear is my copyright. What I'm wearing now also is an inspiration. It is how I saw it on the mannequin, and I just wore it, so it's in a way copied. But obviously, I wouldn't want to spend my life thinking about dresses. It is such a waste of life.

I used fashion to express myself as much as I could. But at some point, it was not enough.

I have an obsession with fashion - it's another form of expression for me - and I have a growing collection of vintage clothes and jewelry. Being able to play dress-up for my career has been a gift.

I've always liked my clothes, even before I could properly afford them. Clothes for me were never a cloak, a cover. They were how I chose to express myself.

With time, fashion has become part of my DNA.

Fashion is that thing that saved me from being sad.
