Women's issues have always been a part of my life.

And frankly, being a woman I think gives me a slightly different take on a lot of the issues and on a lot of the solutions to the problems we face.

Nine times out of 10, women don't want to fix a problem, they just want to be understood. I'll never get that.

The problem for all women is we're identified by how we look instead of by our heads and our hearts.

You can't leave out half the world's experience and expect to address all the problems. Women communicate differently and process information differently, which leads them to resolve conflicts differently.

Women are complicated. We all know that.

All issues are women's issues - and there are several that are just women's business.

The trouble is that as women we try to take care of everybody else before we take care of ourselves.

Of course women can have it all - if they want it all. I won't hear any defeatist talk. If you just dwell on problems, you won't get anywhere fast.

All women's issues are to some degree men's issues and all men's issues are to some degree women's issues because when either sex wins unilaterally both sexes lose.
