I thought 'Fight Club' was great as David Fincher's version.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
People said that 'Fight Club' would be impossible to turn into a movie, but I think David Fincher loved that challenge.
I love David Fincher - even though it was just two scenes, I loved the way we worked and could tell by the way he was shooting it that this was going to be an affective movie to say the least.
'The Fight Club' DVD is great. I like anything that has really good extras because as an actor, it's really great to see the behind-the-scenes stuff and see how different actors approach their particular project.
'Crouching Tiger,' of course, was a very dramatic role for me, and the fighting was very serious.
'Broadchurch' is very different, but it's equally as good as 'The Killing' - if not better.
I thought 'Cabin in the Woods' was really incredible.
'Birdman' is basically 'All About Eve' - the 1950 comedy about rehearsal rivalries in a Broadway show, and another Best Picture laureate - reimagined as a Batman suicide mission. The movie couldn't be actor-ier.
I think 'Paranorman' was a great adventure.
I loved 'Iron Man.'
In terms of popular cinema, 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' is as near perfection as I can think of.
