I've been able to play a kid up to this point and pretend that I'm not a grown-up - well, at least for two hours a night!
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I still like to sit in a room and play games all day, so I'm a kid, really.
I also found child's play - stuff that was not considered serious, but goofy - was the stuff I liked to do, so I still do it as an adult.
I'm one of those people that makes a better adult than I did a kid.
I mean, it's fine when you're a kid and someone runs into the playground and goes, 'I've got this great game of pretend,' and you play... As an actor, getting to play, getting to use your imagination and be childish - it is weird but it's wonderful.
If I manage to get seven hours' sleep, I'm a pretty good parent.
I used to be someone that needed nine hours of sleep; otherwise, I didn't think I was going to sound good when I sang, and I was very disciplined and anal about my preparation. When you become a parent, there just isn't that time, you know?
Sometimes I still go round the house making weird noises and stuff, so in that aspect, I haven't grown up!
As far I'm concerned, being an adult is way more fun than being a kid. But then I was a kid who wanted to be an adult. I'd watch shows like 'Bewitched' and see Darren come home and mix a martini and I'd go, 'That looks awesome! I want to do that!'
As a child, I was always playing some generic child.
I've grown up with kids watching me and as they're growing up, I'm growing up.
