In the NFL a lot of times everyone gets caught up in the business side of things. For them it's all about money and it really leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

You hear players in the past say that it's just a job for them, but for me, it is nothing like that. I literally wish I could play football every day.

When people watch football, they're looking for fun things.

I know a few different women who really enjoy fantasy football, but if it doesn't work out for them in a given season, it's not like they're going to go into a three-month funk. Whereas I know a lot of guys, myself included, who, if they have a bad season or if they lose a couple tough games, are just crushed.

Obviously my last two years in the NFL were not much fun at all.

I believe a lot of players that start to think about money - 'Oh my goodness; I'm up for a new contract' - they don't have a great season because they're thinking about all these different things. Do your business on the field, and everything takes care of itself.

I just think overall a lot of it has to do with conditioning and players putting in the time and the effort in the off-season to keep themselves in condition for 12 months a year.

You've got to get good habits of working hard so that when that play comes up during the regular season that you're able to complete it and do it the right way.

Preseason football is hard to evaluate. It's never going to be clean for the quarterbacks. You have to overcome the ugly plays and be productive. It's a component of leadership that is necessary. The guys that make it in the league survive that.

The NFL has been an amazing page in this chapter of my life. I pray that all successive adventures offer me the same potential for growth, success and most importantly fun.
